Storm hits Greenfield Park
We had a fairly serious rain and wind storm here this afternoon. Very ominous looking as the sky very quickly turned black, winds howled with gusts up to 110 kph; trees and trucks were toppled over. That’s right trucks. On the Champlain bridge 8 trucks were flipped on their side causing a complete shutdown of the bridge. Just wanted to post this quickly to show a couple of photos I took this afternnon. The first is of a home in Brossard. Imaging coming come to that after a hard day’s work. The second comes from the corner of Morley and Victoria. The storm itself wasn’t a huge surprise as it had been excessively humid lately but the speed that in rolled in certainly was as was the power of those wind gusts. There are branches and leaves strewn about on all roads and yards. Feel free to comment on this, we always love to hear from you guys.

Tomorrow both Marsten and I will be posting some great old photos of my father, Keith Hollingdrake, from his goaltending days during the 50s. A big thank you to Normand Simard for the work in getting the photos done nicely

You should take a Picture of the massive tree branch on top of the RV on Regent street
